Haiku + Senryu

Haiku is a seasonal, reverent celebration of a subject (nature or people) trying to make a feeling.
Senryu tends to have a victim and may be humorous or irreverant trying to make a point.

Children are knowing
They can groove with the moment
We need their spirit

How do we get what we need?

You have captured the exuberance and in the moment joy of children. Wish we could bottle that!!

Our inner childhood spirits are always in us. It's up to us to let them out to play. I believe a safe place to let them play has been through writing and sharing our haikus.

Great haiku, Gemma : )

I never realized, we all say all the mumbo jumbo about living in the moment. But actually kids know how to do it.

Very well written!

I agree, and I would add animals to this....They can all teach us to 'groove with the moment'....
