Haiku + Senryu

Haiku is a seasonal, reverent celebration of a subject (nature or people) trying to make a feeling.
Senryu tends to have a victim and may be humorous or irreverant trying to make a point.

ache...

crossbred seasons
even the leaves
ache for routine

Just a week ago, 4 days of heat wave ravaged my world.
Today I wear long sleeves.
And many trees are dropping strangely coloured and patterned leaves - as per the one above.

 NOTE
In memory of Kat Creighton who loved the beach, the sea in New Jersey.
Her haiku blog was my ninth life.
Her gift from a friend, a seashell angel, was her most recent avatar on Facebook.
