Haiku + Senryu

Haiku is a seasonal, reverent celebration of a subject (nature or people) trying to make a feeling.
Senryu tends to have a victim and may be humorous or irreverant trying to make a point.

Silk

Main Street, Mornington markets are held each Wednesday.
These are the longest running street markets in Victoria, Australia - about 30 years.
The market is dedicated to Australian designed and made products.
Often, street musicians contribute to the atmosphere - from drums to violin.

This is the kind of haiku I like, the moment caught. Well done, nice one!

I think I would find little comfort in silk and scent in that situation either! I like both pictures--words and photo. Well done!

Awesome haiku in which a short moment is caught in so less words. Nicely done.

You nailed this. Yikes. I love this one. Not the soft breathy kind at all. Good job.
