Haiku + Senryu

Haiku is a seasonal, reverent celebration of a subject (nature or people) trying to make a feeling.
Senryu tends to have a victim and may be humorous or irreverant trying to make a point.

Share the flotsam of echoes
Pining for new love

Oh, surely someone will come to love them! Surely!

Sadly discarded dolls are aplenty. The novelty wears off and a new replacement is always expected! Nicely Gemma!

You made this quite poignant

jilted lover
cast off like an old toy
needs a new start

Cheers!

Dolls need to be rescued,
just like pets.
Those who don't love dolls
seem to get many for gifts
because they "should: love dolls.
.
I wasn't a doll girl when I was young.

There were many of my dolls that went to the Salvation Army to be rescued by someone I hope that was more "girly" than I was.
