Haiku + Senryu

Haiku is a seasonal, reverent celebration of a subject (nature or people) trying to make a feeling.
Senryu tends to have a victim and may be humorous or irreverant trying to make a point.

Verdant

Bare earths of my heart
Long for the verdant landscapes
Of our old music

This is a wonderful haiku

I don't know what it means
But I think that's good

My poetry is seldom enigmatic in this way

Maybe I'm too constrained and literal

Cheers!

WOW! What a wonderful picture you share here with us. I love the sphere you call on with this picture and the strong haiku accompanied ... really awesome.

Oh, this is truly a delightful little song, a bit melancholy, perhaps, but still the music warms my heart!
